Introduction
The obvious for the eye is mundane………., “Brij” work comes across as dynamic, colourful, intriguing, precariously balanced and strongly disturbing but definitely futuristic. In the choice of materials he uses indelible ink on paper where he works in multiple forms, function and post as if planning a space colony. As a close reference if you look at the “Birds Nest” the venue for the Olympics, it brings back memories and images of “Brij” where he used random references of straight lines starting at point A and terminating at point B, always geometric either a sharp triangle, a rotunda or random blobs of the abstract organic.. The forms in colour exert their own geometric will on an unsuspecting on looker. The work does not conform to any established norms except it takes inspiration from the early works of “Kandinsky”. There are aspects where the colour and sharpness of “Mondrian” emerge, lurking from the cormers. The energy, the digital content, the neon colours, the materials, the nostalgia of movements and non conforming aesthetics create its own opportunity and a singular genetic signature which distinctively is “Brij”.
Here we present some of his works along with the series: ” The Digital and Mathematical Analtsis of Futuristic Aesthetics”
